Meet Dr. Ashley Butler, PhD — a leader in behavioral science, equity-focused research, and pediatric psychology.
As a T1D Exchange HEAL Advisor and Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, Dr. Butler is redefining how diabetes care centers approach equity by listening to what youth and families from vulnerable populations say they need most.
Her work bridges research, implementation science, and now business leadership (as she pursues an Executive MBA at Rice University), all to ensure that proven interventions make a real impact in real-world settings.
In our latest Meet the Expert feature, Dr. Butler shares how community voices drive her research, how mentorship shaped her path in diabetes care, and how the T1DX-QI community fuels innovation and collaboration nationwide.
